Celebrate Gyspy Roma Traveller History Month 2010

Rules of Entry

1. Competitions are not open to employees of Gypsy Roma Traveller Achievement Service (GRTAS).

2. Only one entry per person.

3. GRTAS are holding two, linked competitions. An International version and a Leeds area contest. Entrants to the Leeds area competition must reside in the Leeds area. Entrants to the Leeds area competition will automatically be entered into the International competition also.

4. To enter the competition entrants can either upload digital files on this site, or submit artwork with an entry form by post to:

Posted artwork must have a competition entry label attached to the reverse. Images should be A3 in size where possible.

Entries for the International competition must be received by the 31st July 2010. Entries for the Leeds area competition must be received by 19th June 2010. Incomplete entries or those not received by these deadlines will be disqualified. We cannot return artwork after competition has finished. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

5. By entering this contest you grant us permission to display the submitted work on our website or other publications including public exhibitions.

6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged or not received for any reason.

7. The winners will be the entrants who are judged to have produced the best artwork for each category in the opinion of the judging panel. One overall winner is also selected.

8. The panel of judges for each competition will be comprised of a GRT Professional artist appointed by GRTAS and members of the GRTAS team.

9. Winners will be notified by post, telephone or e-mail. The judges’ decision will be final.

10. Winners in all categories can be found by viewing the GRTAS website www.grtleeds.co.uk website after September 1st 2010.

11. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as GRTAS may require.

12. The prize will not be transferable to another person. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

13. This competition is being run by Gypsy Roma Traveller Achievement Service Leeds, West Park Centre, Spen Lane, Leeds, LS16 5BE as part of the Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month 2010.

14. Any personal information collected will not be used for any purposes other than specifically competition purposes and will not be disclosed to anyone else. The winners’ names may be published on the GRTAS website after the closing date of the competition.

15. GRTAS will award prizes and certificates on 30th June 2010 in the Leeds Civic Hall for the Leeds competition and in October 2010 for the International competition.

16. GRTAS reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the GRTAS website www.grtleeds.co.uk

17. By entering this competition, applicants agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions.
